Ann Walters

Ann Walters brings over 25 years of experience in public and stakeholder engagement and partnering strategies with an emphasis on policy issue and coalition building for major economic development programs. She recently provided stakeholder management and community outreach for two DPC projects, the Capital Grid Project and the DC Plug Initiative.

She is a trained broadcast journalist with experience in radio as an on-air personality and producer, and has also produced and hosted several TV documentaries. Walters worked as a producer for Carib Nation covering the Penn Relays,and served as a writer for Carib World News.

 

Walters worked on a traveling project for the African-American Museum of the Smithsonian Institution which took a close look at the Jamaican Diaspora in the United States. Prior to that, she served as a program assistant for the World Bank Group for 10 years. Walters graduated from American University with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism.
