Diane Pratt

Diane Pratt is the founder and principal of DP Consultants with more than 30 years of strategic communications and public engagement expertise. She specializes in creating comprehensive strategies to advance major economic development and infrastructure improvement projects that benefit communities. Her expertise in strategic planning and issues management ensures informed decision-making among diverse audiences. Pratt oversees an experienced team that directs innovative and creative solutions for government and private sector clients engaged in complex endeavors.

Prior to founding DPC, Pratt served as chief of staff for the District of Columbia Deputy Mayor’s Office of Economic Development for over a decade, served as a City of Chicago urban planner and as an economic development specialist for the Center for Community Change. Pratt holds a BA in Economics and a MA of City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina. She is a former AARP Board member and past chair of the AARP Foundation Board
